I recently completed my Masters in Information Systems with a concentration in Data Analytics from New Jersey Institute of Technology, in December 2018. For being a perfect analyst, it’s important to understand how the tools you are using for analysis have been developed and does the tools works, that means you need to know the developmental and analytical tools. This is what i had learned from my experience as an analyst during my Internship and in school during masters studying Data Analytics. Also, a good analyst never stops learning and i have this unique hunger for knowledge and experience that makes me never scared of challenges.

Developed a Workflow consiting of 3 Nodes in KNIME to take a Dataset dynamically, irrespective of the format as an input from the User, store it on the KNIME Server, provide the data quality of the dataset, then clean the data and provide user with a summary report on the KNIME Web Portal.
Implemented search engine using Apache Lucene. Added spell checker using Norvig’s Spell Checker algorithm and snippet feature. Achieved 1.65% higher relevancy score
Wrote a program using JAVA to develop a web crawler that can crawl 500 pages from Wikipedia and check its relevancy to the topic. Also, developed a frequency based inverted index of the 500 crawled pages.
Analysed news data containing 40,000 instances and 61 attributes with the goal of predicting the key factors contributing to news popularity. Model predicted news popularity with 68% accuracy
Analyzed the German Credit data set and create a predictive model based on supervised learning. The model is used to help the bankers find out whether a customer is good or bad so that, the decision on giving a loan or not can be taken

Designed and developed the prototype of a webiste called University ranking for NJIT graduate students -To assist them to know about about professors for respective courses before registering for courses. -To help them pick team members for study groups or coursework project depending on their strengths and weaknesses.
